Sharyn is a Chartered Accountant with an extensive background in the accounting, audit and taxation areas of public practice. Sharyn holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and has specialised in superannuation for most of her professional career.

Sharyn is a Chartered Tax Advisor of The Tax Institute, a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a registered tax agent, a registered company auditor and a SMSF Approved Auditor.

Sharyn has served on a number of professional association boards and committees including ASFA, The Tax Institute and SPAA. She is also has been a member of a number of high-level ATO and Treasury consultative committees relating to superannuation. Sharyn is recognized as one of Australia’s leading experts on superannuation and is a sought after speaker on tax, audit and related technical superannuation matters.

Tanya holds Bachelor degrees in Economics and Arts from the Australian National University and a Master of Professional Accounting from Edith Cowan University.

She is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Chartered Tax Advisor of The Tax Insititute.

Tanya received a merit certificate for the top 5% of candidates in Australia in the taxation module of the CA program and was awarded the top student in WA.

Tanya has been employed with slca since November 1999, and was admitted as a partner on 1 July 2009. Tanya specialises in accounting for superannuation funds, with special focus on AASB1056 and financial and management accounting, and she also provides specialised tax and APRA reporting services.

Trina holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Charles Sturt University.

She is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Trina is a superannuation specialist and was formerly National Manager – Client Accounting, with Link Group.

Trina joined slca in January 2021 and provides accounting and APRA reporting services.

Damien Lockie

Damien is a specialist tax consultant. He provides direct and indirect taxation advice for the firm’s APRA regulated funds.

Damien has dual qualifications in law and accounting and his experience spans more than 40 years as a solicitor, accountant and advocate.

Damien is a former partner of HerbertSmithFreehills, Baker & McKenzie and Ernst & Young. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Chartered Tax Advisor and Life Member of The Tax Institute (due to previous service as a National Councillor), and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He holds Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Laws, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics degrees.

Leeann Weir

Leeann holds a Diploma in Accounting and is a bookkeeping specialist with over 15 years of bookkeeping experience.

Leeann’s career began in 1997 and she has since worked within several different employment sectors from Manufacturing to Accounting and Corporate Engineering companies. Leeann also has extensive experience in company accounting and team management.

Leeann joined slca in November 2020 and provides bookkeeping services.
